Some common questions we get asked:
Do you deliver and how much is delivery?
Yes we deliver! If you're located south of Greenhill Road we will deliver for free.
Why have you changed from metric units to sizing?
Our previous location included a weigh bridge, which is required under law to sell goods by weight. We have now moved location which does not have a calibrated weigh bridge and so are required to sell by "lot".
The amount of wood you will receive is roughly the same as previous, given our delivery vehicles are the same, however we will no longer be selling by weight.
Do you wholesale?
Absolutely. If you're using firewood year round, whether for your pizza oven, restaurant or wood fired bakery, please contact us for wholesale/recurring purchase rates. We won't be beaten on our Blue Gum rates.
Where do you source your wood from?
Our blue gum is sourced locally from our plantation on the Fleurieu Peninsular, whilst our red gum and balah is sourced from proven suppliers located in the Riverina region.
Is your firewood seasoned?
Yes. All our firewood is properly seasoned for at least 6-12 months, to ensure low moisture content, easy lighting and efficient burning.
Do you offer bulk or commercial firewood sales?
Absolutely! We offer wholesale pricing to business such as restaurants, pubs, campsites and resorts, Contact us via our "Contact Us" button to discuss.
What are the benefits of blue gum vs red gum?
Apart from being more cost effective, blue gum generates more heat per volume of firewood, is easier to split and ignite, with fewer sparks. Red gum generally produces better coals. We recommend getting your fire started with blue gum and then putting balah or red gum in the evening or overnight.
What is in your mixed gum?
We mix blue gum and red gum within the mixed gum.
Can I pick up firewood myself?
We have moved to a delivery only model for 2026.
